Health cover up to Rs.5,00,000 per family per year.
Covers secondary and tertiary care hospitalization.
The Scheme has provision for payment of Air / Train fare to the Beneficiary plus one Attendant for treatment outside the state.

Eligibility

The scheme is for the poor and needy who are Enrolled under the CMHT scheme.
Bona fide citizen of Manipur who belongs to any of the category, that is AAY, Widow, Disabled are eligible to avail the scheme benefits.
Bona fide citizen of Manipur who claim to be poor and needy but does not include in any of the above-mentioned category may apply for eligibility of the scheme for the DC verification process.

Empanelled Hospitals

You can go to public or empanelled private hospitals across the country and get free treatment.
Portability Allowed.

ID Proof : Original EPIC (Voter ID) card / PAN card / Driving License / Ration Card / Passport / Government ID card.

Chingkhiuholiu Khangchian

Chingkhiuholiu Khangchian is a 27 years old beneficiary of CMHT from Phunguang Village in Tamenglong District. She is a housewife and her husband is a farmer and they have one daughter and a son who was born recently. They came to know about the scheme from their village authorities and got their health card made from DC office of Tamenglong district. The CMHT health card has been very beneficial for them during the delivery their son in District Hospital Tamenglong.

With the use of the card they were able to receive free treatment and medications. They are very grateful to the government for such an altruistic Scheme that has been so helpful to them. Their wish is for other families like theirs to get enrolled in this Scheme and receive such benefits like they have.

KL Rose Anal

KL Rose Anal hails from Modi Village in Chandel District. She is a widow who lives with her two sons, a daughter -in-law and a granddaughter. The main source of her family's income is farming and cultivation. She came to know about the CMHT Scheme from her relatives and friends and as such got her health card made at District Hospital Chandel.

She had been having recurring pain in her lower abdomen for weeks before she was finally diagnosed with acute appendicitis in March 2020 at District Hospital Chandel. With the help of the CMHT health card she was able to get her surgery done free of cost. She is very grateful that she was able to avail her full treatment and medications for free without having to worry about the financial burden of treatment. She further added that the scheme is a boon to poor people like her and her family who struggle every day for daily needs.

A Government initiative to reach out to its citizens at their doorsteps, explain government programmes and its benefits to the people and ensure timely delivery of services to eligible beneficiaries, redressal their problems and queries in a smooth and citizen-friendly manner and provides on the spot solutions, on the same day, without any delay, wherever possible. Special focus is given to schemes relating to social benefits, health, education and identification of left out eligible beneficiaries for inclusion in a government programmes.

MeeyamgeNumit

"MeeyamgiNumit" (People's day) celebrated on 15th of every month as a forum for the general public to address their grievances and submit their suggestions. The objective is to make the government, citizen-centric, proactive and programme implementation effective.A software and SMS service to track and inform citizens of the action taken on their grievances has also been launched and a dedicated Grievance Redressal Cell also set up to provide better facilitation and improved coordination for prompt disposal of citizen's grievances.
